Meet The Members
Pastor Harris
Pastor Harris is a dedicated servant of God with a heart for people, community, and spiritual growth. He has faithfully led Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with a passion for preaching the Word, strengthening families, and helping individuals grow in their relationship with Christ.
With a warm and welcoming spirit, Pastor Harris believes the church should be a place where everyone feels loved, supported, and encouraged. His leadership focuses on unity, discipleship, and reaching the community through service, outreach, and prayer.
(Earl) Deacon & Sunday School Director
Deacon Earl is a faithful leader and devoted servant at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. As a Deacon and Sunday School Director, he is passionate about teaching God’s Word and helping people of all ages grow in their faith and understanding of Scripture.
With a heart for guidance and encouragement, Deacon Earl works to create a welcoming learning environment where members can ask questions, strengthen their spiritual foundation, and deepen their relationship with Christ.
Through his dedication, wisdom, and commitment to service, Deacon Earl continues to inspire the church family to live out their faith with purpose, integrity, and love.
(Bobby) Deacon
Deacon Bobby faithfully serves our church with a heart for God and a passion for people. Known for his humility, wisdom, and servant’s spirit, he is committed to supporting the ministry, encouraging the congregation, and helping meet the needs of our church family.
With a strong foundation in faith and a love for the Word of God, Deacon Bobby strives to lead by example—demonstrating integrity, compassion, and dedication in all he does. He is always willing to lend a helping hand, offer prayer, or provide guidance to those in need.
His desire is to see lives transformed through Christ and to help strengthen the unity and mission of the church. We are grateful for his leadership and faithful service to the Lord.
(Scott) Chairman Deacon
Chairman Deacon Scott faithfully serves as the leader of our Deacon Ministry, providing spiritual guidance, wisdom, and steady leadership to our church family. With a heart devoted to Christ and a deep commitment to the mission of the church, he works diligently to support the pastor, strengthen the congregation, and uphold the unity of the body of Christ.
Known for his integrity, compassion, and servant leadership, Chairman Scott leads by example—demonstrating humility, faithfulness, and a genuine love for people. He approaches his responsibilities with prayerful discernment and a desire to see lives transformed through the power of the Gospel.
As Chairman Deacon, he oversees and encourages the deacon body, ensuring that the spiritual and practical needs of the church are met with excellence and care. His vision is to see the church grow stronger in faith, deeper in fellowship, and greater in impact for the Kingdom of God.
